My name is Orit Shahaf, based in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
I was born and raised in Tel Aviv, where I also studied Textile design and majored in print making at Shenkar College of Engineering & Design.
To me, as I see Textile, it's a world filled with shapes, colors and materials that inspired from all around us. With the need of knowing and feeling the right material. 
When I'm looking around all I see is visual. So as my work, and prints.
For me it's a way of communication, exploring feelings, and sometimes even emotions. Through colors and shapes I believe I can create and reflect my views and aesthetics of the world as I see it, and bring it into a fabric or a garment.
